Michelle is such a very successful people for me. As a well known celebrity, certainly she had received many kinds of awards either in oversea or Malysia. However, since there are many awards, I'll write about certain important awards received only.

Michelle was awarded the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP) by the Sultan of Perakin conjunction with his 73rd birthday.

Datuk Seri Award Ceremony May 22nd, 2012, Kuala Kangsar, Perak
Michelle received the honor of Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak award on Tuesday May 22nd. The award ceremony was held at Balairong Seri (Throne Room), Istana Iskandariah, the royal palace of the Perak Sultanate and the official residence of the Sultan of Perak, in Kuala Kangsar.
Michelle became Malaysia's first Chinese female artist who received the "Datuk" title on 2001. She is now country's first Chinese female artist who is "Datuk Seri" which is the highest state title conferred by the governor to the most deserving recipients who have highly contributed to the nation.

Previously, Michelle was honored with 'Datuk' title in 2001 and 'Datuk Seri' in 2012. Tan Sri is the second most senior title in our country. Michelle had receive many and lots of awards in filming. I think I'm going to write about which films has bring her to awards. Continue the reading ! ;)
1. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (1999)
In this great film, she has been starred with Zhang Zi Yi, Chow Yun Fat and Chang Chen. For this film, Michelle herself has got many kind of awards, mostly is the 'Best Actress' award. Check it out!

Actually, there are too many awards received by Michelle. But, this is all I can write. Hence, based on her performance and contribution as Malaysian that I have tell in Personal Life entry, she absolutely is a great women for me. I choose her for my assessment blog because of she herself. I like to watch her movies, I like when she contributed to nation and even though she is a famous Hollywood star, but she is still one of our Malaysian.
